College Trust Scholarships
Merit Scholarships for 10 Std and 12 Std Student Cadets: Prospective student cadets with 85% Marks at both 12th and 10th Standard Board Exams under English Medium of Instruction considered for Merit Scholarship.
Merit Scholarships for Under Graduate Degree Holders: Above 85% in their degree qualification along with foresaid criteria at 10th and 12th Std levels viz., 85% Marks in consistency considered for Merit Scholarships.
Fraternity Goodwill Scholarship: Facilitated at 10% of Course Fees to the Wards of Seafarers/ Navy Personnel are also considered for Fraternity Scholarships. Note: Student cadets availing this scholarship can not enroll in Placement Guarantee Program of College.

Tamil Nadu Government Scholarships for B.E., Marine Engineering Course
This Scholarship is available ONLY for Student Cadets who are native residents of Tamil Nadu State and avail enrollment through Seat Allotment Counselling of Tamil Nadu Government from Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). College Counselling Code in TNEA is 1514: Sri Nandhanam College of Engineering and Technology. Details of the State Government Scholarships are as follows:
SC/ST Scholarship: An amount of Rs. 64,000 Reimbursed for Every Year of the 4 Year Course
First Graduate Scholarship: An amount of Rs. 25,000 Reimbursed for Every Year of the 4 Year Course
Maintenance Scholarships: From Rs. 4500 upto Rs. 7000 per year as per community classification of the student cadets.
Minority Welfare Scholarship: Rs. 25000 per year with Certification of belonging from minority community.
Central Government Scholarships (B.E., Marine & B.Sc., NS Courses only)

In a nut shell: Above few are among scholarships that are being facilitated by Central Government. Minority Scholarships and those provided by AICTE viz., Pragati and Shaksham Scholarships alone gets applied through the relevant institution in which students have enrolled. For all other remaining Scholarships, onus remains on prospective students to follow-up and apply as per relevant procedures framed under the scholarship scheme.
