Minimum CGPA 5 and above (Degree with 50% or more marks). They should have also obtained more than 50% in English subject at UG or HSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For 1st Year admissions into <strong>B.E., Marine Engineering and B.Sc., Nautical Science Courses<\/strong>, aspiring student cadet should have more than 60% average in PCM with above 50% in English at 12th Standard level or its equivalent from recognized board of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Direct 2nd Year Lateral Entry admissions into B.E., Marine Engineering for Diploma Holders<\/strong>, cumulative marks at Diploma level should be more that 60% average. Government recognized Diplomas should be from Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Tool &amp; Die Making, Marine Engineering, Electrical &amp; Communication Engineering or Electrical &amp; Electronics Engineering Branches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Electro Technical Officer (ETO) Course<\/strong>, aspiring candidates must have completed their Diploma or Degree qualification in the branches of Electrical &amp; Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics &amp; Instrumentation Engineering (E&amp;I) and Electronics &amp; Communication Engineering (ECE) with 50% average or above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General Purpose Rating (GP Rating) and Certificate Course in Maritime Catering (CCMC) Courses<\/strong>, prospective students must have passed their 10th Standard exams from recognized boards with 40% average marks along with above 40% marks in English subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Few more equally placed qualifications are also eligible for pursuing presea training courses.  Feel welcomed to email presea_admissions@nandhanam.edu.in for further details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Non Sailing &amp; PG Courses (Indian Flag):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>B.Sc., Fire &amp; Industrial Safety, B.Sc., Catering and Hotel Administration, B.B.A., Shipping and Logistics Courses,<\/strong> pass at 12th Standard level from Government recognized awarding body is mandatory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all <strong>M.B.A., Courses<\/strong>, aspiring students should have completed UG Degree as on the date of admission (no arrears pending allowed) with minimum 50% Marks.  Ability to communicate excellently will facilitate placement opportunities upon course commencement itself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>City &amp; Guilds Diploma Courses in Culinary Arts or Patisserie<\/strong>, successful completion of 10th or 12 Standard along with age of 16 Years is mandatory.  Good communication in English language, presentable personality are an indispensable must to pursue these courses as the examiners come from England every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Age Limit for Sailing Courses (Indian Flag):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum Age Limit mentioned in below tabular column.  For women cadets, maximum age limit is relaxed by additional 2 years.
