Engineers with Graduation (or) Diploma Qualifications in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering can join Merchant Navy as Ship \/ OffShore Electrical Officers by completing four month pre sea training intended for the same viz., Electro Technology Officer (ETO) Course.  To become employable, it is necessary to complete Onboard training in sailing and clear relevant Certificate of Competency (CoC) Exams of the Flag State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This remains an excellent option for engineering qualification holders from eligible streams as pay scales intended for employment within the Country can never match international pay scales.  It is noteworthy that Diploma holders are also equally allowed to pursue this course unlike GME Course.  Don\u2019t miss this opportunity to upgrade your career as an licensed Electrical Officer (ETO).
